Does the bootcamp cover how to make products?
No I have other courses for learning to make products and it is not covered in this course at all. There is an expectation that you are a competent maker and ready to step it up to the next level.

Is the bootcamp suitable for me if I want to start a business outside of the UK?
No. Whilst the legislation we are governed by also applies to the EU I am also well aware that some EU countries have additional requirements such as manufacturing space away from domestic kitchens and I am not able to comment on these.

It is called the Soap Business Bootcamp, is is suitable for me to sell other skincare products?
Yes absolutely, when I first launched this course I was best known for my soap making. The business has evolved, as all healthy businesses do, however the name was already trademarked so I have kept it.

I am in Northern Ireland, does it cover the legislation for me?
Yes , the same legislation applies to you in NI with the exception of the government portal. You need to add your products to both the EU and UK portal.

There are no guarantees and it would be wrong of me to say there are. I cannot do the work for you and there will be days when you feel you are taking 1 step forwards and 2 back. Starting any business is always a challenge but it is all doable. What I can guarantee is that if you implement everything you will be compliant with the legislation for all levels and if you do all the steps in the silver and gold you will be in the best position you can be to successfully grow your business in the years that follow.

How long is the boot camp available to me once I have purchased it?
For as long as my business running. Again, it would be wrong of me to say lifetime access. None of us knows what the future holds however I do guarantee a minimum 12 months post purchase. That said I am not planning on going anywhere anytime soon!

Yes absolutely, there is a dedicated Facebook group just for bootcamp purchasers for any help and support you need from me personally to get your business basics in place.
Why Me?
I have been successfully running my products business for nearly 9 years. As a self confessed soap geek in 2019 I also began teaching others how to make soap and now other skincare products too. I have taught well over 1000 students to date.
I was hearing the same stories time and time again from my students who wanted to up their game and take the next step into business.
Information online was confusing, conflicting, not UK based and in many cases they had no idea where to start.
So I created the Business Boot Camp.
A comprehensive resource for UK makers who are serious about turning their hobby into a business. This led on to me taking a course to become a Certified Business Strategist and I also run The Soap Suite, a membership where I support and mentor well over 100 established UK Soap and Skincare Business owners.
When I am not teaching or making I love to be out and about walking my dog, sitting in the sunshine or reading a book. I am also partial to a gin and tonic!
